New Years weekend

We spent New Years Eve weekend at the lake with a few of the cousins. It was so much fun!! Erika cooked some amazing food for dinner and we all ate like kings! There were so many kids running around, having a blast! We shot off fireworks and Chinese lanterns that night. It was a blast. New Year's Day, we went on a hike around the property. It was such a great time!

Christmas break

We spent the week between Christmas and New Years at Bill and Pam's house. The kids had lots of sleepovers. Gracie and Hudson napped every day together. Matt, mark, and mike took Will and roman to the new Star Wars movie while the girls got our nails done. Monday night we had homemade pasta at Jimmy and Mindy's house. It was so great! I love that all the cousins live each other so much!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was awesome. The kids couldn't wait to see what Santa brought!
Roman got the Star Wars star destroyer!

Carmen got her karaoke machine!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went to Erika's church in downtown Tulsa and heard the kid program. It was so great. The highlight was watching Carmen belt out Silent Night! She had passion!
Afterward, we went to a short communion time and then headed back to Matt's parents house. They had over thirty family members over for dinner. It was so fun!

Crazy flying momma

I'm crazy! I looked at the flights and realized that Matt and I weren't going to be able to fly to Tulsa on the 23rd because flights were filling up. That meant he was going to have us drive. Yikes! 13 hours with my nutty kids!!! I packed us up and drive down to the airport by myself. Well, myself, three kids, a dog, 5 bags, 3 backpacks, 1 stroller, and a purse. I parked the car, loaded onto the van, checked all the bags, registered the dog, and made it through security. Matt's dad graciously flew to Atlanta and met me after security! We did it! 1-1/2 hour flight and we made it to Tulsa! Everything actually went smooth. Matt met us there the next day when he got off work.

Roman lost his first tooth!

December 21st! Ronan lost his first tooth at age six. It was so exciting! The tooth fairy came and brought him two dollars. Matt was out of town, but we got to FaceTime him!

Happy birthday Jesus!

I love our church! They passed out birthday cake mixes and icing so we could bake a cake together to celebrate Jesus' birthday! The kids are getting older and a tiny bit easier to do stuff like this by myself with them while Matt is flying. We had a great time and then watched the movie Elf all in my bed. I love making memories with my babies!

The hood party

I invited all of the neighborhood ladies over for a Christmas party with a little gift exchange. It was so fun to have so many of us! Poor Matt had to get the kids to sleep with all of us! Carmen kept looking over the balcony wanting to come down. She wants to have a party one day when she's a mommy one day too! So she says!

Christmas just us

We celebrated Christmas with our family on December 19th before we left for Tulsa. We wanted to open gifts with each other mostly because we didn't want to fly with any more gifts than completely necessary! I love our family so much! I feel blessed to have each other!

Carmen's preschool performance

Carmen performed at her new preschool this year. She did awesome being on such a big stage!

Santa!

We had all smiles this year with Santa! Hudson plopped on his lap and asked him to come to Tulsa to his Grandma's house. It was adorable!

Christmas with Meema

We celebrated Christmas early with Meema on December 14th since she left that weekend for Spribgfield. We went to see Santa and then ate pizza at her house and opened gifts. It was so fun!
