Four

Roman is now 4 years old!!  Time is going too fast!

• Roman loves to play all the time.  He wakes up asking where we're going and who he can play with.  He is a social butterfly
• Roman is now in all 4T clothes.  He loves anything with superheroes on it.  He wears his underwear on backwards so he can see the superheroes.  silly boy!
• Roman is fully potty trained and night time trained too.  I thought we would be in pull ups at night for a long time, but one day he just decided that he was finished.
• Roman has really turned a corner from the terrible 3's.  They were TERRIBLE!  It was definitely a difficult year with him.  I feel like we must have done something right because he is doing so much better with obeying, manners, and discipline. 
• Roman still loves to torture his sister!
• He is learning the books of the New Testament from bible study and has memorized many verses.  He has a fabulous memory!
• Roman still goes to preschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then goes to bible study with me on Tuesday mornings.  We have a great schedule right now.  
• Roman can't wait to turn five so he can play soccor and ride on a school bus!

Roman is Four years old!!

I can't believe our once baby boy is now Four!!  The day before his birthday, I worked hard on some homemade chocolate cupcakes and cake from scratch with cream cheese icing.  They were yummy!  We enjoyed them that night.

 The next morning, we woke Roman up singing to him and with balloons in his bed.  He was excited!

 

Mommy tried to make the letter '4' toast and Roman requested fried eggs of course!

After bible study that morning, we gave Roman his present from Meema, a new spiderman bicycle!!  He was so excited!  He said, "This is the best birthday ever!"  I love it!

That night we had the Jansen's over for dinner.  Roman requested his favorite meal, hamburgers.  He and Hamilton played so well together.  They had a great time!  We all sang to the big boy, he opened presents, and we had more cake.  It was a great night!

Bath time

Bath times can be so crazy with two kids, I can't imagine how it's going to be with three!!  Roman usually throws a fit for even having to get in the bath and then gets on the potty for forever while Carmen loves splashing everything in the the bathroom.  Then it's impossible to get Roman out of the bath.  These are the days!

It's beginning again!  The outdoor fun of neighborhood friends.  The weather is starting to warm up a little and now that its daylights savings time, the kids are outdoors later.  I'm excited, but a little nervous for the craziness of this summer with a baby.  I'll just embrace each day and be thankful for all of the amazing neighborhood friends that we have!

This cutie came down from quiet time the other day telling me that he is dressed as a power ranger.  You go Roman!!  I just love your imagination!

Double stroller

After much debate and research, we finally got our double stroller.  It's the cheapest one that I ever found.  We ended up with the Babytrend double.  I looked at so many and wanted the city select $500 one so bad, but just couldn't justify spending anymore money on strollers.  We now own 4 strollers all totaling in around $1,300!  That's insane!!!  Hello craigslist when we're finished with these!  I'm really proud of myself for getting the less expensive option.  Matt was proud of me too!  Ha!

30 weeks

People always say they carry differently between a boy and a girl and I think I've stayed pretty much the same with both.  I definitely have all the same back aches, leg cramps and pains with all three.  The morning sickness during the first trimester has gotten more severe with each pregnancy for sure.  I definitely also gained less lbs with Carmen than with Roman.  I think it's because I was chasing a toddler around the second time around.  I'm gaining more this time, though, and chasing two kids around, so who knows!  I found these pics from my other pregnancies at 30 weeks.  I thought it was fun to compare!

Only less than 10 weeks to go of being pregnant.  Crazy how fast time flies!  I feel so blessed to be able to have three babies.  God is so good!
