Two weeks in Oklahoma!

Here are more pics of our trip.  We ended up staying for two weeks.  The kids were having so much fun, we didn't want it to end.  I flew back with Carmen to Atlanta for one night to go to my doctor's appt and to physical therapy.  We flew back to Tulsa the next day and had so much fun.  Carmen is a professional flyer.  We love the lake and our family so much!

Trip to Tulsa

We finally decided to fly to Oklahoma to see Matt's entire family and go to the lake. The kids did great on the flight. Hudson was good on his first flight!
Roman wanted to sit by mommy

We hung at Tulsa for Thursday morning and then headed to the lake that night. It was so great to have so many cousins together. I loved seeing Whitney and Meg together again! It had been a year and a half since we had been to Tulsa and almost two years since we had been to the lake.

Roman and Carmen were obsessed with the triplets!

The big girls painted Carmen's nails

Mindy, Meg, and I bathed the little ones

Hudson loves his grandma

I found Roman and Will sitting in the shower talking about Star Wars. Silly boys!

Daddy and his little boy

Carmen has no fear with fireworks!

The kids loved dinner outside

Enjoying the sunset with Matt

Boat ride on Monday morning. Living the life!

Roman hugged Gracie the entire weekend!

Carmen and Reagan were inseperable! They even slept together every night!

Emmett had his first tubing experience!

We had such a great time!! I love Matt's family and it was way too long not to see them!

Post surgery update

I've been going every Thursday to the plastic surgeon to get small saline injections in my spacers. It's such a weird process. They stick a long needle in and I watch my chest slowly grow every week. I get to decide when we get to the perfect size and then we schedule the next surgery for my actual implants. This is such a strange, surreal process. I'm trying to take it all in and just stay grateful that I'm alive.

First Redeemer 4th festival

My mom and I took the kids to her church's 4th of July festival the weekend before the 4th. Matt decided to stay home with Hudson. The kids had a blast. They loved the jumpy houses, cotton candy, face painting and of course the fireworks. It was so fun!

Carmen's 3 year check

Our big girl is growing so fast! Here are her stats:

Weight: 34lb 4oz (80%)
Height: 39-1/2" (91%)

The doctor said she looks perfect. We need to probably meet with a speech therapist to check her hearing and speech. I'm sure we'll get her up to speed shortly. She is still hard to understand on some words.
Our big girl survived her finger prick and loved getting a bandaide!

Physical therapy

I started physical therapy on June 27th and it was so great! The therapist worked with my arm mobility and it helped so much. She massaged out this spot on my left side that has formed. It's called axillary web syndrome. I've got lots of exercises to do at home to help. Afterwards, she sat me down and told me I can start to slowly hold Hudson more and more. I literally started crying. I drove home and immediately picked up my baby boy. This mommy's heart is full!
