Turning Point, my rehabilitation center, picked a few of us breast cancer survivors to write down our stories for Fulton County Women's Journal. I was so excited to get chosen. I am always eager to share my story of how God has held me through every step. We're anxiously awaiting the publishing of the articles! I just knew a God wanted me to write my story. I wonder if this is what he meant.

Pink does Buckhead
My friend Holly got a group of us together to go to the W hotel in Buckhead for a breast cancer fashion show. All if the runway girls were survivors. We had a great night out with great friends! Andi, the last season bachelorette was there with her boyfriend. Of course I had to talk to them and grab a pic. We compared Mohawks and fake boobs. Ahh! Good times:)

Baseball
Baseball season has ended. We loved baseball! Roman went from barely hitting the ball and not even knowing the bases to getting on base every game. He did great and had a fun time!
Bread anyone?
The bread making is going great! We're not only enjoy fresh bread. We love making cinnamon rolls, hamburger buns, dinner rolls, pancakes, and pizzas. It's wonderful!

Faith part two
Tonight I was getting ready to read the kids a story in their bible and Carmen hands me the bible with the story that she had randomly picked. It happened to be about Jesus healing the woman who had enough faith just to touch him and be healed. It said, "You're faith has made you well. Go in peace"
How cool that God showed me again to just have faith in him.

Faith
I've been having bone pain for over a week now. I went to the oncologist yesterday and she doesn't think it is cancer because the pain isn't localized in one particular spot, but I'm having a bone scan and CT scan next Thursday. I am terrified, but trying my hardest to just remain calm and remember that God's word says DO NOT FEAR.
We had our bible study social this morning at my house and Judy prayed over all of us that we would clearly hear the Holy Spirit. Afterwards, I was exhausted, so I just laid down and did my bible study for the day. I was reading about how Deborah had so much faith to inspire Barak to lead the Israelites into battle. One of my questions read, "Is there an area in your life that God wants you to trust Him for, even though you cannot yet see the end result". Yes! He wants me to trust him and have faith that he healed me. He told Lisa that he removed them (cancer cells) and He wants me to remember and have faith in him. I don't think he is ever going to outright tell me that I am forever healed. He wants me to always lean on my faith in him. I learned a lot through the Holy Spirit this afternoon already! God is so cool!
On another note:
We finished this last night! It's right outside the kids' bedrooms. I want our family to remember to trust God and listen to the Holy Spirit in every situation.
