Santa!
We had all smiles this year with Santa! Hudson plopped on his lap and asked him to come to Tulsa to his Grandma's house. It was adorable!
Christmas with Meema
We celebrated Christmas early with Meema on December 14th since she left that weekend for Spribgfield. We went to see Santa and then ate pizza at her house and opened gifts. It was so fun!
NYC
Our close friends, Lindsey and Corey told us they were going to New York around Christmas time to celebrate their ten year anniversary and asked us to join them for a night. Since we fly free, Matt agreed! We had the time of our lives!
We barely got on our flight on Monday late morning, but it worked out. When we arrived, we checked in at our hotel north of Times Square and changed into our dress clothes for dinner. We met the Longs by Crntral Park for a carriage ride!
Next we walked down to Times Square and checked out the crazy tourist scene!
We then walked to their hotel by grand central station and waited while they changed for dinner. Then took the subway to the meat packing district.
We headed for the Top of the Standard hotel for a cocktail before dinner. A bellman told me it was closed to a private party, but gave me the name of the party and told us to try to go ahead and just crash it! So of course we did! Next thing I know we are in the middle of so many business men in suits on the top floor enjoying the view of all Manhattan! We ordered drinks (which were free because of the party!) and toasted to our craziness! Lindsey and I were to the bathroom and next thing we know, Matt says we have to leave. Someone realized we weren't part of the Arbor party! Oops! It was totally fun and crazy while it lasted!
We then walked to Catch for an amazing seafood dinner. The waiter gave us an awesome chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversaries! It was an amazing night!!Tuesday morning we woke up and met Lindsey and Corey at Rockefeller center for a NBC tour. We got to see where Saturday night live, Seth Meyers, and JimmyFallon are filmed. It was pretty cool. We then just walked around 5th avenue. We stopped at the Plaza hotel for a Bellini and then headed back to Grand Central for lunch at the oyster house. It was amazing food. We walked through Times Square on the way back to the hotel and then grabbed a car to the airport. Overall, it was an amazing two day trip. NYC is amazing at Christmas time!

Photos
We got our pictures taken by my good friend, Apryl, the day before Thanksgiving since Andy was in town. I think she did a great job.
After we all took some outside, everyone went in because it was cold. Matt and I stayed out to capture a photo together. Apryl noticed that for less than five minutes there was a rainbow in the background. It was amazing. It's as if God was telling us He is still sovereign always and forever.

Thanksgiving
We enjoyed having Andy and Elizabeth in town for Thanksgiving. It was a great time for the kids to all play together. Matt also made the best turkey ever!!
