Have you ever used those washable bath crayons? Roman loves them. I had to briefly take them away after I noticed he wrote on my bathroom wall! We're still getting used to only writing in the tub. It makes for some great bath time fun!

Halloween
I know, I know, I'm probably a bad mom, but we did not take Roman trick or treating. Halloween is a fun holiday, but it's not extremely important to me. After going to Tulsa and not getting back until late Sunday evening, we were just too exhausted to dress him up and take him out. We did, however, hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. Roman enjoyed being in his jammies and watching the kids come to the front door for candy.
Roman's school had their fall festival the Friday before Halloween. Roman normally doesn't go to school on Fridays, but they let me take him. Batman (Roman) had a great time with his friends!

Last minute Tulsa trip!
We took a very last minute, short trip to Tulsa this weekend because Matt's brother, Mike, got engaged! We are so excited to have Meg as part of the family. We drove in early Saturday morning and left Sunday afternoon. It was worth the drive!
Mike and Meg helped the triplets carve pumpkins for Halloween while Roman was napping. Grandma helped too!
Mike is a great pumpkin carver!
Roman had a blast with his cousins as usual! They jumped on the trampoline lots!
Big cousin Will tried so hard to show Roman how to swing a baseball bat. Roman still needs a little practice...
The finished pumpkins!
Cousins!
They ate all of their meals at the kiddie table. It was great!
Pa's birthday was on the 28th of October, so we sang to him and celebrated
Uncle Mark's birthday is November 1st, so we all sang to him too! Who else would wear a Batman shirt because his son loves Batman?! What a true daddy!
After birthday cake, they all got to take a bath together! They had a blast!!!!
Pa played with Roman Sunday morning while Matt and I cooked breakfast for everyone. It was so cute!
The girls love Captain!!
There are so many blessings and things to celebrate in the Franks family right now! What a great weekend!
Picking up is so much fun!
Roman can finally walk around with his food and not throw it!
He knows if he accidentally drops the crackers or cereal and says, "Uh oh!"
Whew, he got it! Good job Roman! I love having a little cleaner!

playtime, pizza, and rangers
Friday afternoon during Roman's nap our power went out. We kept thinking it would come back on by evening, but it didn't. We started getting desperate when we realized that we might miss the Rangers game at 7pm! Immediately, we called the Longs and they graciously had us over. We ordered pizza and ate dinner outside while enjoying the wonderful Texas fall weather.
Roman and Chloe enjoyed their pizza at their very own table. Roman followed Chloe around all night! It was really cute! They were having their own conversations with lots of giggling!
Bath time!

Bath time!
We put Roman to bed in their guest room and he did great. I think he knew where he was. Right before the kids went to bed, Lindsey and I asked them to give each other a "night night hug". They did. No words necessary!

Race for the Cure 2010
We walked in Race for the Cure at North Park a few Saturday's ago with the Kennedy's. Jennifer has been breast cancer free for 6 years now. Yeah!! We love them and enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate with them another year in the race!
Look at all the people!! We were towards the back of the race too!!
