Christmas in Tulsa part 1

We drove into Tulsa the day before Christmas Eve. It was a smooth drive and so great to get there early!
Christmas Eve day, Mark and Whitney brought the triplets over to play with Roman. Pam gave Mark, Mike, and Matt scrapbooks from their sports glory days. We all loved looking at the pictures!

Christmas Eve night is spent with the majority of the Jones family coming over to Matt's parent's house for dinner. We all helped cook and it was wonderful!
Roman is in love with his cousin, Henry! He calls him "Onry" and still talks about him!
We're so excited to have Meg as part of the family!
Christmas morning was exciting as usual! Mike still receives a Santa gift because he's not married yet. Mike and Roman had to sit on the stairs waiting to go down to see what Santa brought them!
A tricycle for Roman!!!

Roman loves Meg!!!
All dressed up and ready to go to Great Grandma's house
Here are a few pictures of the craziness at Grandma Jones' house... We spent most of Christmas day with the entire family!

Mindy was 39 weeks pregnant!
Roman and his cousins loved playing on the stair landing. We had to stop him from throwing stuff at people! Little rascal!!
Grandma loved the picture that we gave her

15 weeks pregnant

It's official. There's a baby bump now!

Pregnancy facts to date:
  • I am no longer sick!! I was so much more sick this pregnancy. It was horrible!! The smell of my shampoo doesn't make me want to vomit anymore!
  • I think of cupcakes every day! Instead, most days I stick with fruit as a sugar fix.
  • Beef is so amazing! I could NEVER be a vegetarian. Poor Matt has to eat hamburgers, tacos, and any other beef meal very often!
  • I am showing faster than I did with Roman, but weigh the exact same as I did at this point in his pregnancy. Strange...
  • Having a toddler and being pregnant is SO exhausting! Wow, I used to come home from work and take a nap on the couch. Never again! It's totally worth it, though!
  • That rule for not carrying things over 20lbs while pregnant is out the door. I get to carry my 30 lb son everywhere!
  • Working out is the ONLY thing that helps curb my complete exhaustion! Once I actually hit the treadmill or gym, I feel great. Just the same as previous pregnancy. I plan to work out this entire pregnancy as well.
  • We were told at our 12 week sonogram that this baby is 98% a girl! I hate that we found this out because it's still not 100%. Matt and I have felt like this is a girl the entire pregnancy, but I want to know for sure! Ha! I will never find out the gender at a 12 week sono again! I want to know 100% or not know at all! One more month until we find out!
  • Roman walks around saying, "sissy" and points to my belly when I ask him where the baby is. He's going to be such a great big brother!
  • God is so good!

Mangum Christmas Party

Matt's friend Nat and his wife Lindsay had the whole group over for a kid free Christmas Party! We had a blast all catching up! It was so great to see everyone! There were three of us that were pregnant and two of the couples are planning on moving away this next year. Tear! Big changes with the group for 2011!

We actually got a picture of everyone!
DORKS! These are your average pilots people!

Thanks Mangums for a kid free evening out!!

Our family Christmas celebrations

We haven't attempted to take Roman out to eat in a long time due to his toddler crazy ways, but I really wanted to try to keep our tradition of going to dinner and opening gifts as a family the weekend before Christmas. It worked! We ate at Fireside Pies and stuck Roman inside the booth. Between the cars driving by and his "dabba", his was entertained the entire meal. After dinner we drove around Highland Park looking at Christmas lights. Roman enjoyed his praise baby video on the DVD. Whatever works!

I tried to get a picture of our tree before it completely died. Poor thing didn't drink much water, so it didn't last long this year!
Matt personally decorated my present from our family artwork.

I gave him a grandpa J Crew sweater and a few old cast iron skillets from the 1940's. My husband is so domesticated!
Roman enjoyed his picnic table from Meema. It got shipped to the house before Christmas.

Silly daddy!
I sure do love my boys! That's all!

Christmas playdate

A couple of weeks before Christmas, I had a few of my close friends over for a small play date. The kids had a great time! We made hand-painted wreaths on paper plates for a craft. We attempted a picture of the kids in front of the Christmas tree. Tiff and the twins had already left.

Chloe, Roman, William, Jake, and Madison

My little rascal!
Roman decided that he had to be on Lindsey's lap or held by her the entire morning. As you can imagine, this did not go over well with Chloe. This might explain the look on Lindsey's face!
Kristin worked away on the computer

William played great with everyone!
Helen and Jake had a blast!
We had a great time with you girls! So glad everyone could come over!
