Apple picking

We drove up north to the "mountains" for some family fun apple picking. We had a blast! Hudson didn't even cry on the hour drive.  We timed the trip up there during his morning nap and the way back was during their afternoon nap. The kids ate more apples than picked. We ended up with 3 huge bags of apples, an apple pie, apple butter, hot sauces, salsa, and other goodies. It was a perfect day of 60 degree weather and sunny. I love family Thursdays! And I love Georgia!

Greek festival

Last weekend my mom told me she was going to the Greek festival with her neighborhood friends. Matt was flying, so once again I was alone for the weekend. I asked her if we could tag along. Man times have changed when you have to ask you're mom to let you hang with her and her friends! Ha! Her friend actually ended up not being able to go, but we ran into my good friends, Mike and Allyson. The kids had a fabulous time. The food was amazing and the dancing was fun. Carmen was a dancing queen. She finished her food and started to walk away from us. I stopped her and asked where she was going and she firmly responded, "I'm going to dance!"  Well alrighty! Carmen made little friends and they danced! I'm bummed that I didn't get very many pictures!

Walking our babies

Mommy and Carmen enjoyed walking our babies in their strollers the other day. It's the little things in life!

Date night

We finally got another date night! My mom came and watched the kids while we went to downtown Roswell for a drink and dessert. It was so great to sit and listen to live music kid free and enjoy each other. I love this man so much!

5 months

Hudson turned five months on October 9th. He is growing so fast. Time can finally stop please.

Hudson has definitely turned a corner. They even noticed in the church nursery that he is a different baby. He doesn't scream all the time anymore!

Hudson is around 18-1/2 lbs. He wears 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

Hudson still nurses around 7:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 4pm, and takes a 6oz bottle and nurses at 7:30pm. He eats baby food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the family. He loves baby food now and his rice cereal. He's tried all of the stage 1 foods. I'm starting to make some puréed  bananas and sweet potatoes with a little more texture. Like all our babies, Hudson loves to eat!

He gets a morning nap still on the go in his car seat or at bible study or the gym for about an hour and then gets a good 2 hr nap from 2-4 in his crib while Carmen naps. Hudson has finally started sleeping 12 hrs at night! Yay! He goes from 7:30-7:30 most nights. Game changer!
I'm very strict with sleep and food schedules. It is the only way I can manage 3 kids on my own half the time. Their lives are very predictable, which works out great!

Hudson rolls in all directions and sleeps mostly on his belly. He always likes his belly while laying on the ground now and is trying to pull up more.

He loves to laugh all the time and thinks Roman hung the moon! I love his dimple so much when he smiles!

Hudson loves songs like' the Itsy bitsy spider' and 'row your boat'. He loves music already. Most entertainment comes from big bro and sis though.

He has become such a happy little boy now that his tummy isn't hurting all the time.

We love you so much sweet Hudson! God has big plans for you!

Scary house

People on our street don't mess around with Halloween decorations. It's crazy! The kids are absolutely obsessed with the scary house up the street it has a werewolf that growls at you with glowing red lights at night and a graveyard in front. They love to walk up to the house and just stare every single day. Weirdos!

This picture does no justice to the decorations

Walking to the scary house

Lilliana even walked with us one day

He just stares at it forever!

We decided to step our house up a notch for the sake of the kids and get a blow up. They love all the decorations!

Neighborhood fall festival

My mom helped me take the kids to our neighborhood festival last weekend. It was a blast with lots of bouncy houses, a train ride, local farmers market, and a haunted house.

Yes, I carried both kids through the haunted house. They had a death grip on me. It wasn't that scary. I'm not that bad of a mom!

I love our neighborhood so much!!
