Hudson is growing 20 months

Hudson turned 18 months back in November. Things have been so crazy lately, so here are his 20 month stats

Hudson is the most strong willed, determined child I know. He will only do what he wants, when he wants. He only wants to read his certain book on his timing.

Hudson is our pickiest eater. He loves fruit and fish sticks. He is starting to like eggs. Hudson also likes applesauce and yogurt. We're working on veggies.

Hudson is more affectionate. I love when he kisses me and hugs. He wants to always be held. I try to soak this up while it lasts.

Hudson LOVES his Meema. He asks for her always and loves to play with her.

He wears size 24 month and 2t clothing, size 6 shoe, and size 5 diaper.

He sleeps from 8pm to 8am. He naps from 2pm-4pm. I have to usually wake him from his naps so he will sleep at night.

I think Hudson is pretty advanced with his speech. He says our whole families names at prayer time at night. He even thanks God for Mark, Mike, Meg, Emmett and the rest of the family. Hudson communicates very well. This helps with his demanding personality.

Hudson likes music and loves to sing. He sings happy birthday, twinkle twinkle, the Frozen song, and Amazing Grace.

He is still enamored by Roman and gets 'mommied' by Carmen all day long!

We love our boy so much. I just know God has special plans for him.

Christmas in Tulsa

Christmas in Tulsa was adventurous and crazy as usual.  We couldn't celebrate until New Years Day because it was hard for everyone to get together.  We had so much fun!  We stayed in Tulsa for an entire week.  The kids had a blast playing with all their cousins.  We love being with family!

Christmas 2014!

Even though Matt was flying, we were all joyous!  No cancer!  No fear, pain, nausea from chemo, or extreme fatigue!  We are in a new season of life!  It was time to celebrate and live!  Praise the Lord!

The kids came down ready to open gifts!

Matt watched the whole thing!

We went to our neighbors' house Jenn and Craig with Charity and Chad that night for steak and chicken dinner.  It was so great!  We are so blessed!

Christmas Eve

The kids spent the night before Christmas Eve at Meema's house.  Matt flew from the 23rd to the 26th!  We spent the morning of Christmas Eve with her decoration cookies and hanging out.  I took them to Passion City church that afternoon with the Jansen's.  It was absolutely amazing to hear Loui Giglio speak and Christy Nockels sing O Holy Night.  We sat on the 3rd row!  What a way to celebrate Christmas!

That night we hung out at the house.  Meema spent the night with us.  We left cookies for Santa and reindeer food outside!

Happy Birthday Jesus

I invited a few of our friends over for a "Happy Birthday Christmas party" two days before Christmas.  It was so great to let the kids hang out while the mommy's sipped on coffee.  We all sang to Jesus and ate birthday cake.  I might have to do this every year!

Why is it so impossible to get a photo of the three kids all smiling?!
Merry Christmas!

Carmen's Christmas play

Carmen had her school play before Christmas and it was so adorable.  She loved performing!  This girl was beaming with joy and light the entire time!  Her teacher came up to me and said, "So, I hear from Carmen that you have a baby in your belly."  No!  Apparently Carmen gave her great detail about this mystery baby.  There are no more babies in mommy's tummy unless Jesus decides to come!  It was awesome to get to attend the performance this year.  Last year, I was getting a mammogram and MRI.  Crazy!
