The first two weeks of Carmen's life, Matt ended up flying and being away for 8 of the nights! It was so hard on all of us. I was so fortunate to have my mom and Matt's mom stay with us. Pam stayed for two whole weeks unplanned. It was so helpful! She played so much with Roman, helped me with late evening shifts with Carmen, cooked, and shopped. We all had a great time. I feel so fortunate to have a wonderful mother in law that is so giving! Not very many people can say that both sets of grandma's can live in your home all together for two whole weeks and all get along great!
I don't know if it was the hormones, crazy emotions, or lack of sleep, but I cried off and on the rest of the day after my mother in law left town. We love you Pambo!!
