The past two weeks!

Carmen went to her two week check up appointment a little early. We packed up and took her on July 1st. Here are her stats:

Weight: 8lb 5.5 oz (already past her birth weight! She got down to 7lb 9oz) (50%)

Height: 20-1/2" (80%)

Head Circ: 14-1/2" (90%)

Overall, she's doing great! She's eating like a champ! Nursing is going so much easier this time around! I'm so thankful! She's even slept 4 hours straight a few nights for us! Carmen was known in the hospital by her high pitched scream. The nurses called her a drama queen. She hasn't done that since she's been home. Thankfully! She is such a sweet baby!

Meema has already been here for three weeks and is planning on staying two more! I am so grateful to have her! She has been a life saver!

Matt's mom has stayed with me for two weeks too! I am so fortunate to have both grandma's help me because Matt has been traveling with work 8 nights since Carmen's birth! It's been hard without him, but I've had lots of grandma help! I cried when Matt's mom left town yesterday!

Big brother Roman is adjusting pretty good. He is very rough with Carmen, so I can't take my eyes off of him or her for a single second. We're working on it. We're really trying to give him lots of attention and love and not draw attention to the new baby yet. It seems to be working! There is nothing sweeter to my ears than when I hear him ask, "Where's baby Carmen?" So cute!

Captain is doing well too. He's adjusting to his new sister and craves attention when the visitors come!

Overall, we're doing great being a family of four! We couldn't imagine life without little sister Carmen!
