Getting settled

We're starting to get settled in the house.  Most boxes are now unpacked.  We have a completely empty great room, partially empty office, and the basement needs a sofa.  All in good timing!
The TV is only blocking the window until we can get it installed above the fireplace.  We wouldn't want to block the view!

This is the empty office/parlor.  It works for now!

The dining room is set up.  I can't wait to get draperies on those windows one day!

Poor Captain doesn't know what to do with himself!

Roman's room is finally complete!

The playroom upstairs is so light and open.  The kids love playing in it!

I just ordered plantation shutters for the back windows so we can soon remove the ghetto packing paper placed on the window to block the morning sun!

More pics to come!  We went to Brownsbridge community church two Sunday's in a row.  We love it!  It's a satellite church with Andy Stanley as the pastor.  The children's ministry is absolutely amazing!  We also love our neighborhood!  There are so many kids.  I think it's a prerequisite to have at least 3-4 kids to live in this neighborhood.  Uh oh!  Last night we had a full on whiffle ball game in our back yard with a ton of neighborhood kids.  Roman's newest friends are in 4th and 6th grade.  I kid you not!  They have come to the door the past two nights asking to play with Roman!  I think everything is going to be great here!
