Matt has been home literally the entire month of October. It's crazy! He had training two days down at the airport, but hasn't flown at all! He wanted to go to Dallas last Monday night to go to dinner with all his friends. I said, why not, but I'm going the next day. So we did! He flew out and stayed the night with his buddies and came back Tuesday afternoon. I called my Tiffany on Tuesday and asked if she could pick me up the next day. It was so last minute! I woke up at 4:30 am and landed in Dallas by 9am. Tiff and I drove around it seemed like all day, but we had lunch at La Duni in Northpark with Lindsey and Helen. It was so great to see them!
After lunch, we went and surprised Kristin at the hospital. She had Manning the day before. She was shocked! It was so great to see her!
I was so sad that I didn't get to see Heather also, but next trip for sure! I was supposed to stay the night and fly back the next morning, but Tiff's husband called and couldn't get home that night from a business trip. It made no sense for her to have to wake her boys at 4 in the morning to take me to the airport the next day, so I caught the last flight out that night. I arrived home finally around midnight. It was such a long day, but so worth it! I feel so fortunate that I can fly for free on a whim! Can't wait to go back!
