We've had this little Vegas trip planned for a couple of months. Matt and I never get to spend much time with Matt's parents without lots of kids screaming, so we planned to meet them in Vegas for two nights. My mom graciously flew in town for the week to watch the kids and hang with us. Matt and I flew out on Thursday evening. The 3 hour time change was kind of hard on me considering we didn't eat dinner both nights until almost 10 pm, which is 1am east coast time.

Matt's parents were already in Vegas the day before so we met them for dinner Thursday night. After a steak dinner, we headed back to the hotel and Pam felt sick. Sure enough, she had some stomach bug and we didn't see her again. She has still been sick for 2 weeks now! It's crazy! Poor thing!

| Matt and I woke up at 6am west coast time and headed to the Bellagio for coffee and pastries and then had a big breakfast at the Paris hotel. |

All day on Friday we walked around and checked out the different casinos Neither one of us are much gamblers, and they were very smoky, but there's always so much to see in Vegas!

After the show, we had dinner at the Jaleo in the Cosmopolitan and then went to bed and crashed. It was a great, short getaway!
