4 months

Hudson turned four months old on August 9th. Here are his stats:

weight: 17lbs (84%)

height: 27" (96%)

head: 17-3/4" (97%)

 

He's becoming so aware and laughs a lot. He seems to be a happy baby a lot of the time.

Hudson loves to watch his big brother and sister. Anytime he's fussy, they can usually make it all better.

He still nurses around 7:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 4pm and again at 7:30. I give him a 4-6 oz formula bottle at 7:30 before I nurse him. Hudson usually naps in the mornings on the go in his car seat and has a good nap between 2-4.  This is a typical good day. We have many "off" days too. 

He used to sleep 9-11 hours at night, but hasn't done that good for the past month. He wakes up a lot around 5 am, but has even woken up at 2am or 11pm! 

The doctor said that I can start sleep training him now because he's so big and healthy. He doesn't eat great in the morning if I nurse him in the middle of the night. 

Hudson is wearing a size 3 diaper and mostly 6-9 month and 9 month clothing. 

He is taking rice cereal in the evenings with our dinner and now in the mornings too. The doctor said I could start him on baby food too. 

He loves his exersaucer and he's really starting to play with little toys. Being outside is his favorite. 

Having three kids has been so difficult to manage, but seeing Hudson's beautiful smile and watching him grow so fast before our eyes melts my heart. He is so handsome and sweet and we couldn't imagine life without him! Thank you God for our baby boy!
