Chemo/family time

Chemo is so weird. People keep asking me what it's like and I try to explain it compares when your newly pregnant and constantly nauseas and exhausted. Then you add in a constant metallic taste in your mouth and super dry skin. I hear that I will be getting mouth sores and gum decay. Oh joy:) I'm trying to take it all in stride and handle it one day at a time. Having these littles really helps me!

We enjoyed a family walk around the park the other day. I seriously cherish our family walks. Love these people so much!!

I forgot to add in the fact that you lose your hair on chemo. Good thing I'm not super attached to my hair, but I do dread the feeling of it coming out in clumps. My mom decided to go with me wig shopping. I was actually so sick that day. I had had the worst bone pain ever the night before from my neulasta shot to boost my white blood count. It worked, but man it was painful. In the meantime, I started taking hydrcodone. Then I was nauseous the whole next day. Lovely. I decided if I had to go buy a wig, we would make it fun. Carmen needed her pink tutu and we all needed flair from pink. You've gotta make it fun!
