My mom graciously watched the kids on New Years Eve for us so we could go on a date and then to two different parties. It was so great to go to a restaurant without kiddos and just talk. I was told by the doctor that I could enjoy a glass of wine occasionally at dinner or to celebrate the new year. So I was excited to order one with dinner. It burnt the entire way down and tasted disgusting. Such a bummer! Oh well, at least my water doesn't taste too bad with the nasty metallic taste in my mouth.
After dinner we went to our friends, josh and Holly's house. It was great to laugh and hang out. I was getting tired, so we left to stop by our neighbor's party too. I love our neighbors so much! It was a great night. I actually made it till midnight and Matt hung out even later. Good times!
