Since mommy has been home...

We've had a great time! It's been close to 100 degrees here in Texas every single day, so if we're outside, we prefer water. Matt has only been gone two different days this week, so we've had lots of fun as a family. Roman has played with many friends too!

Monday we went mommy's doctor to check on Carmen. As we were in the waiting room, in walked Chloe and Lindsey! It was a great surprise! After nap Matt, Roman, and I all headed to the Monda's house to swim with Jackson, Cohen, and Finn. Tuesday was another family day at home.

Roman and mommy played in his kiddie pool on Wednesday while daddy had to go to work. I rocked a bikini at 9-1/2 months pregnant. Not a pretty sight for anyone!
Mommy has been baking a lot too! These oatmeal banana muffins were amazing! Roman took one bite and his face lit up saying, "I like this!" So cute!
We went to the church 'mommy and me' play time in the sand volley ball court on Thursday morning. Roman loved following Chloe and Lily around. (I stole these great pictures from Carol's blog!)

Thursday afternoon we had the Long's over to watch the Mavericks game. Roman always loves playing with Chloe! Friday morning we all slept in until almost 9 am! We woke up and met the Copeland's from church at their neighborhood pool. Roman had fun swimming with Chloe and Hailey. Matt had to go to work on Saturday, so Roman and mommy hung out all morning. After nap, we headed over to the Monda's again for pool time. We enjoyed a great day at church on Sunday and then went to the Mill's house for the final Maverick's game and pizza. Roman loved playing with London and Lilly. They have so many toys!

Overall we've had an amazing week with fabulous friends! I've really enjoyed getting to bond with my big boy one on one before Carmen gets here. It's amazing to see the difference in his attitude towards me since I've been home with him. He doesn't always have to have his daddy now. He wants mommy too!! Wonderful! I've also gotten to stay more consistent with my daily bible reading and prayer time, exercising, and the house is clean! This staying home thing with one child is awesome! Times are about to change, though...
